Dalmia cement operates a manufacturing capacity of more than 35 MnT per annum (MTPA), across 14 cement plants and grinding units which are spread across 10 states. Dalmia Bharat Cement runs over 35 MTPA across 14 plants in 10 states, serving more than 33,000 dealers and sub-dealers. Its in-house ePOD module saw limited driver adoption, so delivery time and goods condition went uncaptured, slowing invoicing and fuelling freight payment disputes between plants and LSPs. Freight Tiger deployed multi-modal ePODs across app, IVR, OTP and email, with a mobile app in regional languages and on-ground training for drivers and consignees.
The result: Reduction in time taken for POD submission from 7 days to 3 days.
